On 10 July 2019, Mr. Gokhriya Badole, Mr. Bhurala Achale, Mr. Rakesh Achale and Mr. Vakil, all of whom are defenders from Siwal village and members of Jagrit Adivasi Dalit Sangathan working for the protection of Adivasi rights, were left severely injured after authorities opened fire on them as they protested against their eviction from their land. Authorities also filed an FIR against the peaceful protesters.
China: Hong Kong protesters beaten

On 21 July 2019, approximately 40 protesters were violently beaten by a group who were targeting unarmed passers-by wearing black, whom they believed to be anti-extradition protesters who were on their way home.
