    On 8 December 2018, Drugkho, a Tibetan youth who set himself on fire while chanting Long “Live His Holiness the Dalai Lama! Free Tibet!” as a protest has gone missing. Immediately after his protest took place there was an immediate lockdown in the area, with internet communications blocked. He has not been heard from since.

    No information was immediately available concerning the date of Kyab’s parents’ second detention or where they are now being held.
