The action of dozens of farmers from Padang Lawas (Palas), who was staying in front of the North Sumatra DPRD building was forcibly dispersed.
The forced dispersal was carried out by the Medan Satpol PP and police personnel, on the evening of Monday 19 September.
The farmer's tent, which is in front of the right side of the building, was forcibly opened by the Satpol PP.
This mass of peasants who were dominant in mak-mak rejected the officers' actions so that chaos could not be avoided.
The action of pushing each other between officers and farmers occurred so that it ended in chaos.
Farmers suddenly screamed and even cried hysterically, seeing the actions of the Satpol PP and police officers.
"Where else do we have to go," shouted the mothers.
"Is it wrong for us to demand our rights? We are fighting for our rights," said another.
However, the officers from the Satpol PP still opened the tents belonging to the farmers.
"I don't feel sorry for you to see this little boy," said a farmer, pointing to a sleeping child.
The action of the officers was stopped, because the farmers were still holding on to the tarpaulins they had laid out.
